Due to my vast international coaster experience, I’m more than qualified to countdown the Top 3 Roller Coasters in the UK. Just kidding. I’ve been out of the U.S., but not to any theme parks. This week’s countdown is based on Mitch Hawker’s Poll, CoasterForce.com, general buzz on the ‘Net, and my keen sense of quality roller coasters.
1 – Nemesis at Alton Towers (Staffordshire, England) Nemesis is easily the biggest name on the other side of pond. It’s a thrilling B&M inverted coaster that hugs the terrain of Alton Towers. At Nemesis’ highest point it’s only 42′ tall. Take note you Cedar Point stat freaks that think bigger and faster is always better. Nemesis was #3 in Mitch Hawker’s Coaster Poll. That’s quite an accomplishment.
